Temple of Fine Tailoring
Our team at Paul Stuart visited the factory and witnessed firsthand why this region has been the epicenter of American menswear for over a century. We watched master artisans cut and stitch some of the finest tailored garments in the world. We could feel the deep heritage that goes into crafting each piece and we marveled at how it all comes together…rigorous quality, meticulous construction. American Made.
Rooted in heritage and craftsmanship. Timeless style, tailored to perfection.

Waterbury Button Company
Up, Down, Two, Three, Brass, Horn, Corozo, Mother of Pearl…a wardrobe would be nothing without buttons. Style is in the details.
Waterbury Button Company is the oldest metal button manufacturer in the United States. Founded by Aaron Benedict during the war of 1812, when American supply lines were cut off from the British. Benedict bought every brass and pewter pot and pan he could find to forge buttons for American troops.
Using original methods of stamping, plating and assembly, their classic styles and intricate bespoke designs are considered heirlooms and collectables. From military uniforms throughout our history, to the custom brass on the Paul Stuart Two Fifty Blazer, Waterbury Buttons are a symbol of American History.
American Woolen Company
American Woolen Company has deep New England roots dating back to 1853 as one of the largest producers of premium worsted and woolen goods. In 2014 the historic Warren Mill in Stafford Springs, Connecticut was acquired by the American Woolen Company we know today, beginning a new chapter of American craft.
American Woolen Company is one of the few remaining vertically integrated textile mills in the United States. Their commitment to revitalizing American manufacturing—and the communities those mills support—extends to homegrown materials. American Woolen sources fine wool, mohair, alpaca, and bison fibers directly from ranches across the United States.
We partnered with American Woolen Company to develop the fabric for our limited-edition Two Fifty Blazer.
